The Lympstone Royal Marine Band is presently deployed in Afghanistan where they are relied on as stretcher bearers, ambulance crews and provide cover on the ground. When their instruments eventually caught up with them, they performed a gig on behalf of the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund, under the umbrella of the Medics Rugby Challenege.
